Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

Operating these roller shades is easy too! You can upgrade to a cordless lift system – the safest choices for homes with kids or pets. An affordable remote control motorization option is also available for operation with the touch of a button - the ultimate in convenience and an ideal choice for hard-to-reach windows.

And finally you can polish off the look of your new roller shades with a colour-coordinated cassette which accents your shades by covering the exposed top rail.

Recommendations and Limitations

  • Factory will deduct approximately 1/2” from the total width for inside mount shades. No deduction will be made for outside mount.
  • Fabric colour can vary from one dye lot to another. To ensure that all materials are from the same dye lot, please order shades for the same room at the same time.
  • Cassette will have colour-coordinated fabric.
  • Cassette option only available with standard roll.
  • Cordless lift system includes a tassel to lift and lower your blinds.
  • Max width: 71”. Max height: 60”.
  • The locking mechanism on the no-tools installation headrail will be located on the right side for Cordless and Motorized options.
  • IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If the no-tools installation headrail is chosen, measure the exact width of the top of your window frame and use those measurements as your width. Do NOT take the smallest of the three measurements, which may cause your headrail to not fit properly.

Easy to pick the style, purpose, colour, size, motorized or not, inside or outside mount. When it says exact measurement for inside, they get it right, i went a touch smaller on a couple and that was my fault I had to shim just a little, but perfect as *I ordered. Delivered as promised. Just great. I have already recommended this website to people. I also do wish I'd spent the extra on built in valances, I'd recommend getting valances. One of my blinds came with and looks better.

Great product, disappointed in service

Overall the blinds and motorization are great. The issue is they programmed the remotes incorrectly and now its our duty to program them correctly. This is a time-consuming task that will require diligent effort of which we don't have right now. It took customer service over a week to get us the solution and now we have to fix their mistake. Frustrating. Their literature also states each remote can control up to 15 blinds. This is not true - each can control only 5.

Office Roller Blind

I am very pleased with the blind I received. Given the narrow width of my side-by-side windows, I had to go with one blind that covered both (Designer fabric only comes in 24" width and my windows were 22"). I opted for a remote control and love the ease of it. The room is now more suitable for office calls and for when guests sleep here.

Our order was very quickly received, just as ordered and easy to install/operate. I ordered the blind with the roll coming from the top versus underneath as I thought I needed some clearance from molding but it wasn’t necessary and lets light in around the edges.The UV protection backing totally blocks any view outside. The website and customer service were informative and very responsive. I’m happy with the order and will consider ordering again.
