Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

Safeguard
Safeguard is a transparent shroud that covers the Continuous Cord Loop in compliance with the new Canadian regulations for improved child safety. When in the neutral position at the bottom of the chain, the Safeguard leaves <22 cms of exposed chain at the top of the shade. To open or close your blind, simply raise the Safeguard shroud and operate the exposed chain at the bottom as you would with a regular Continuous Cord Loop.

Description

If you have extra-large windows or sliding glass doors, you may be looking for window blinds that look great, last a long time, and are easy to maintain. These Classic Vertical Blinds are made of durable and easy-to-clean PVC and are available in a wide selection of colours. 

The aluminum headrail is self-lubricating, and the wheeled carriers provide a smooth, easy glide. Open and close the blinds with the easy-to-use wand or Safeguard system, and choose from two different draw types (left stack or right stack).

Recommendations and Limitations

  • Deductions on inside mount: ¼” taken on width and ½” on height. No deductions on outside mount.
  • Outside Mount valance is 1 1/2" wider than ordered width.
  • Total Height includes vanes and headrail.
  • SafeGuard shroud is transparent.

My order for a single classic vertical blind turned out very well. I first ordered a couple of product samples so I could choose between two material selections. The samples arrived by mail in a couple of weeks. I then roughed out an order using the webpage instructions etc, but phoned in the order and to my pleasant surprise, spoke to a very knowledgeable lady who confirmed that I had figured out the webpage order correctly. She also provided the cost and confirmed my address as still being where the sample was sent. About three weeks later, the blinds arrived along with a couple of extra brackets that I had requested. The product is good and the install went well.

The blinds fit perfect. I really like them. The only thing is they are hard to open & close with wand, but still manage to open & close. Feels like they are tight in the head. Maybe with time it will get less hard to open... I do recommend this site to anyone that wants to order vertical blinds.

Very happy with our faux wood blinds and honeycomb shades. The instructions on website for measuring windows and purchasing online was informative and easy to navigate. The only concern i had was that the blinds were delivered at different times and dates that didnt correspond with first shipping invoice. They did eventually all arrive and were easy to install. They look great, fit perfectly and well made. Good quality at good price.
