Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

Draw type is the method in which the vertical blinds are opened. Please see the diagram for each type.
Right-Stack: Normal operation(Blinds will close to side of chain & cord control. If you are using a wand control, they will open opposite the side of the controls since you use the wand tilter to draw them open).
Split Stack: Blinds open to both sides.
Center stack: Blinds open to center.
Left Stack: Blinds close to opposite side of the controls(Chain & Cord Control Only).

The custom headrail system, complete with self-lubricating wheeled carriers, assure you of many years of smooth operation. Choose from 7 designer colours.

Recommendations and Limitations

  • Corded Outside Mount valance: Approx. 2" wider than ordered width. Cordless: Approx. 1" wider than ordered width.
  • Wand Tilt colour is standard White.
  • Wand Tilt Location is on right side for split & center stack.
  • Inside Mount vane lengths - : Approx. 2 1/8" less than ordered height. Outside Mount: Approx. 1 3/4" less than ordered height.
  • Deductions - Inside Mount: 3/8" off ordered width, 1/4" off ordered height. Outside Mount: No deductions.
