Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

Left/Right Stack: Blinds will close to side of chain & cord control. If you are using a wand control, they will open opposite the side of the controls since you use the wand tilter to draw them open.
Split Stack: Blinds open to both sides.
Center stack: Blinds open to center.

Our made to measure, 3 1/2" Premium Smooth Vertical Blinds offer you the greatest versatility of all window treatments. Practical and fashionable, these vertical blinds are ideal for sliding glass doors and large windows. These blinds offer a stimulating combination of beauty, low maintenance, durability, light control and privacy, with a rich variety of  textures, patterns and colours. The custom headrail system, complete with self-lubricating wheeled carriers, assure you of many years of smooth operation.

Recommendations and Limitations

  • Made from 100% PVC, a durable, low maintenance material
  • Outside Mount valance is 2" wider than ordered width.
  • Wand tilt colour is standard White.
  • Total Height - Includes vanes + headrail.
  • Vane Lengths - Inside Mount: Approx. 2" less than ordered height. Outside Mount: Approx. 1 1/2" less than ordered height.
  • Deductions - Inside Mount: 3/8" off ordered width, 1/2" off ordered height. Outside Mount: No deductions. Deductions may vary +/- 1/8".
  • Standard wand length is 36” for all heights. 48” or 60” wands are available upon request at no additional charge. Please specify in the notes section of the shopping cart at time of order.

I ordered a custom sized 105 3/4 width by 77 1/4 height blind. And it is a perfect fit for the glass door. A high quality blind. Overall I and my family are very satisfied with the product. As a matter of caution when you order a custom size blinds double check your measurements, otherwise a fraction of an inch could cause you a trouble to install. Also try to order it as soon as you can, as delivery takes longer.
