Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

Safeguard
Safeguard is a transparent shroud that covers the Continuous Cord Loop in compliance with the new Canadian regulations for improved child safety. When in the neutral position at the bottom of the chain, the Safeguard leaves <22 cms of exposed chain at the top of the shade. To raise or lower the shade, simply raise the Safeguard shroud and operate the exposed chain at the bottom as you would with a regular Continuous Cord Loop.

Cordless Lift
Shade is "cordless" and is raised and lowered by pulling on the shade itself.

Motorization
Motorization allows you to open and close your blinds from up to 50 feet away with the push of a button on a remote control. Please be sure to add one remote control per order, and select “No remote” when ordering up to an additional 4 or 14 motorized blinds for the same room (since one remote control will work on up to 5 or 15 blinds).

At least one remote and charger is needed per order. The multi-channel remotes can operate up to 5 or 15 shades on one remote. You will require two channels on the remote for each Double Roller Shade, since each of the 2 shades operates independently.

To use the Smart Blinds Hub, you must order this product with Motorization lift option. Controller range is approximately 150 feet. One (1) controller is recommended per every 2000 square feet. A remote control is required to program your blinds. Please be sure to add 1 remote per order.

Description 

Do you want blackout shades for a better night’s sleep, but also want to enjoy sunshine filtering into the room during the day while still maintaining privacy? Now, you can have it all with the Classic Double Roller Shades.

These unique dual roller shades have two separate layers of fabric which can be operated independently. The light filtering fabric in the front of the shade allows natural sunlight to gently diffuse into the room. When you prefer to block light from coming into the room, pull down the blackout roller shade (white fabric). And if you want a full view to the outside with maximum sunlight, raise both of the shades.

Choose from the Safeguard or Cordless lift system. Or upgrade to the motorized lift system for operation at the touch of a button.

These sleek two-in-one roller shades also include a colour-coordinated teardrop valance for a streamlined, finished look to complement any home décor style.

    • Cordless Lift: 7/8” (+/- 1/8”) total fabric deduction
    • Motorized Lift: 1 1/2” (+/- 1/8”) total fabric deduction
  • Fabric colour can vary from one dye lot to another. To ensure that all materials are from the same dye lot, please order shades for the same room at the same time.
  • Universal or side mount brackets available upon request.
  • SafeGuard controls will be on the left and right of the shade. Controls are not available on the same side.
  • SafeGuard shroud is transparent.
