Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

Two Fabric Cordless Top-Down Bottom-Up
The Sheer Light Filtering fabric (top) and either Light Filtering or Blackout fabric (bottom) operate independently, similar to top-down bottom-up. Simply lower the middle bar separating the two fabrics to get more natural light coming in from the top, while still maintaining privacy at the bottom. Push the middle bar all the way up for greater light blockage. Or raise the entire shade when you prefer a full view to the outside.

No-drill installation headrail
Install your window shades in minutes – no tools, no holes! All you have to do is place the no-drill headrail at the top of your window, push on the tension bar to lock it into place, and attach your shade.
IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If the no-drill installation headrail is chosen, measure the exact width of the top of your window frame and use those measurements as your width. Do NOT take the smallest of the three measurements, which may cause your headrail to not fit properly.

Recommendations and Limitations

  • Neutral white fabric on back gives shades clean appearance from the street.
  • Standard inside mount brackets are top mounted. Side mount brackets available upon request for shades under 48" wide only.
  • Inside mount: Additional 1/4" (+/- 1/8") headrail deduction taken at factory on cordless shades.
  • Inside mount: Additional ½” headrail deduction taken at factory when adding hold down brackets.
  • Shades over 42" wide will have striker plates approximately 4" from the edges.
  • All lift systems come with colour coordinated painted rails.
  • No-drill headrail max width: 84”. Max height: 84”. 1 1/3 or 2 1/4" of depth to install required.
  • No-drill headrail is available in the colour White, Vanilla, Grey, Brown, and Black, and will be visible after installation. A small gap may also be present between the headrail and the shade after installation. 
  • No-drill headrail option is only available for inside mount.
  • The locking mechanism on the no-drill installation headrail will be located on the right side.

We replaced an aluminum venetian blind in our smallest washroom with a two cell honeycomb. We wanted privacy but most importantly insulation. We used No-drill cordless which fitted perfectly. I had my old blinds down and my new one up by myself in about 25 minutes. Ordering and delivery was excellent and without surprises. The new blind was comfortable to touch even at minus 15 Celsius whereas the aluminum blind always radiated cold. We will be back for more!

A bit of programming and all good

Bought 6 blinds. One was not properly assembled,... I fixed it. I had issues with programming blinds as mo instructions included. Called and they were helpful but had to reprogram the unit to work.
