Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

2 blinds or shades mounted on the same headrail. Typically this is to cover a large window where the size is too large to allow a single shade. Each blind or shade on the headrail will have its own set of controls so one blind may be open while the other is closed. We recommend splitting very large wood and faux wood blinds into 2-on-1 headrail. If it is recommended that your blind be split you can still choose to have it manufactured as one single blind, however, it will void the manufacturer's warranty.

The 1" Premium Faux Wood Blinds are perfect for windows with more narrow sills as they are the first in the faux wood category with a 1” Slat size. These blinds are offered in 13 beautiful colours and offer 2 on 1 blinds on a headrail option if necessary. 

Many of theses colours are available in our 2" Premium Faux Wood Blinds and vertical patterns with the 3 ½" Premium Plus Faux Wood Verticals.

The blinds took a long time to deliver and a couple of phone calls. The customer service was great though. The blinds are very nice but one of them doesn’t close all the way.

Disappointing by
First I would like to say I was a bit limited in what I could get in a blind because of window size as we have an older house and the windows did not have the depth to get a nicer blind. These blinds are NOT true faux wood they are basically a smooth thicker plastic/vinyl there is zero texture to mimic wood so if that's what your looking for this is not it. Secondly for the price, which in my opinion was expensive for what the product is I was disappointed because they made it look cheap when all they had to do is use better toggles on the strings and incorporate the "4" strings down to 2 which is standard. 4 is to bulky and cheap looking so I will probably fix that myself. Standard typical installation was easy. Would I recommend this particular size product to anyone I would say NO.

This blind has been rated a 4.6/5.0 by more than 100 other customers but, nonetheless we want Denise to be happy. We advised Denise that this collection has a smooth finish and the textured is available but only in the 2" collection ( unfortunately Denise didn't order samples so she was unable to see the texture before placing her order). For child safety reasons, and in accordance with Canadian law, the factory cannot add the cord condensers to the blind lift cords so that they go into a single pull cord. Advised Denise about our satisfaction guarantee and offered her any other blind as a replacement, at no cost to her.

Faux wood blinds by
We had a terrible experience with the delivery of our first set of blinds. One set was totally ruined when the courier slammed it on our porch. However select blinds was amazing in their replacement which was received in much condition. Thanks for the excellent customer service

Blinds badly bent and poor lift mechanism by
I ordered 1" faux wood blinds for a small bathroom window. The slats of the blinds are noticeably warped with the two ends lower than the middle. I tried straightening them, but it was hopeless. Also, the lift mechanism causes one side of the blind to lift more quickly than the other, causing the blinds to badly tilt as you try to lift them. I tried fixing the lift mechanism but to no avail. Finally, most faux wood blinds have some wood grain pattern embossed into them. These do not, making them look like cheap plastic blinds. Finally, the product is quite expensive, especially for the lack of quality mentioned above. I do not recommend this product.
