Description 

The Value Light Filtering Sheer Shades are one of our most popular window coverings, providing the benefits and style of a shade with the functionality of a horizontal blind. These zebra shades are made with two pieces of fabric, which both have alternating panels/bands: one 2 ¾" - 4 ¼” colour band followed by one 2" - 2 ¾” sheer band (exact size will depend on colour chosen). When the bands on both pieces of fabric are matched together, you get the look of horizontal blinds when open, including an outside view and natural light filtering into the room. To block the light and increase your privacy, you simply rotate the fabric so the solid colour bands fill the entire shade, giving the look of a traditional roller shade. This collection of light filtering shades is custom made from knitted polyester, and is evenly weighted at the bottom, offering a perfect fabric drop. Choose from 10 designer colours.

Recommendations and limitations

• Because of the design of this window treatment, no extra fabric is added to roller.
• Product can only be mounted to the top or rear of window casing. Side mounts not available.
• Headrail deduction: 1/4" with or without cassette.
• Inside mount: Fabric will be 1 3/8" less than ordered width. 
• Outside mount: Fabric will be 1 1/8" less than ordered width.
• We recommend ordering the same lift system for shades going in the same room.
• Motorized blinds have colour-coordinated fabric-insert cassettes.
• Cordless blinds have white headrail cassettes.
• Depending on the height of the shade, opaque sections may not align in the fully lowered position.
• No-drill headrail is only available in the colour white and will be visible after installation.
• No-drill headrail is only available for inside mount.
• No-drill installation headrail requires 2 1/2" of depth to install.
• Factory will deduct approximately 5/8” off of the no-drill installation headrail. Deductions may vary +/- 1/8".
• The locking mechanism on the no-drill installation headrail will be located on the opposite end of the control side selected for Safety Guard. The locking mechanism will be located on the right side for Cordless and Motorized options. 
• IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If the no-drill installation headrail is chosen, measure the exact width of the top of your window frame and use those measurements as your width. Do NOT take the smallest of the three measurements, which may cause your headrail to not fit properly.
