Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

The child-safe cordless lift system lets you raise and lower the shades by simply pulling on the bottom rail.

Safety Guard
Safety Guard is a transparent shroud that covers the Continuous Cord Loop in compliance with the new Canadian regulations for improved child safety. When in the neutral position at the bottom of the chain, the Safety Guard leaves <22 cms of exposed chain at the top of the shade. To raise or lower the shade, simply operate the exposed chain at the bottom as you would with a regular Continuous Cord Loop.

Recommendations and Limitations

  • Cordless lift: Fabric width will be approximately 1-1/8" smaller than ordered width on inside mounted shades, and 7/8" smaller than ordered width on outside mounted shades. Deductions taken at factory.
  • Motorized lift with exposed roll: Fabric width will be approximately 1-1/2" smaller than ordered width on inside mounted shades and 1-1/8" smaller than ordered width on outside mounted shades. Deductions taken at factory.
  • Motorized lift with cassette: Fabric width will be approximately 1-7/8" smaller than ordered width on inside mounted shades, and 1-1/2" smaller than ordered width on outside mounted shades. Deductions taken at factory.
  • Inside Mount: 1/4" deduction off headrail with cassette or exposed roll. No deduction will be made for outside mount.
  • Click2Fit No-Drill: Factory will deduct approximately 5/8” off of the headrail, regardless of lift style. Factory will also deduct 1/2” off of the width and height of your fabric.
  • Twist2Fit No-Drill: No headrail deductions. There will be approximately 1 1/3” fabric deductions on all lift styles for sizes up to 62" wide and 70" high. For sizes larger than 62" wide and 70" high, there will be approximately 2 1/8” fabric deduction on chain guard and 1 13/16” fabric deduction on motorization.
  • Deductions may vary +/- 1/8.
  • Cassette will be white and fabric wrapped based on fabric chosen. Bottom rail is fabric wrapped to match.
  • Do not attempt to compensate for the fabric deductions taken during manufacturing for inside mount applications. Adjusting the measurement could result in the shade not fitting inside the window opening. Some lift systems require more room on the roller to operate, resulting in a slightly larger light gap on one side.
  • The locking mechanism on the Click2Fit No-Drill Headrail will be located on the opposite end of the control side selected for Safety Guard. The locking mechanism will be located on the right side for Cordless and Motorized options.
  • Click2Fit No-Drill max width: 71”. Max height: 60”.
  • IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If the Click2Fit No-Drill Headrail is chosen, measure the exact width of the top of your window frame and use those measurements as your width. Do NOT take the smallest of the three measurements, which may cause your headrail to not fit properly.

Ordering was very easy, delivery was great. Once I deciphered the instructions, installation was incredible - the pressure fit blinds are probably the only window coverings I'll ever use from now on. It will be great to be able to take them down to clean the window in future. They are so easy, they feel solidly built, and they look lovely. I am very happy. Highly recommend!

The blinds fit as expected and look great. Customer service via chat was helpful. The product came quickly. My only concern was that one box had been handled roughly in transit and was bashed in leaving the roller blind and valance slightly twisted. My husband was able to install it with a little difficulty but got it up and if you didn't know you would never notice the slight issue. We never reported it as it all worked out.

Motorized roller blinds with valance

I ordered 5 blinds,a remote and the the neo connect smart wifi controller. 4 of the blinds were inside mounts, and the 5th blind was an outside mount. I received my sample fabrics quickly, and that helped picking out the colours for the blinds. The blinds were shipped and received as promised. They were constructed to the correct size. The inside mounted blinds were a little difficult to install, and required considerable force to snap the valance into the connector. Fortunately I could straddle between my ladder and window ledge to allow sufficient upward force. The 5th blind, outside mounted, could not be installed. The clips were pre-fastened to the brackets. I applied as much force as I could muster but could not get the valance to attach to the clips. I was able to easily snap the clip onto to the valance, when the brackets were not attached to the wall, so I jury rigged a method to install the blind. All blinds function correctly. The iremote came already paired to each blind. Each blind was clearly labeled as to which channel on the remote it was paired. The instructions were also clear how to adjust the upper and lower limits of the blinds. The Neo smart controller works as described. The instructions were quite clear and easy to follow on how to setup and use the controller. The instructions were not clear on how to edit the name assigned to a given blind. However I was able to find out how to do it. I had a quick response from customer service. I would have given a 4 or 5 star rating but the difficulty on installation affected my overall review.
