Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

The cordless option does not have any cords and is raised and lowered by pulling on the shade itself.

Continuous Cord Loop is raised and lowered by use of a cord mounted to the Left or Right side of the shade.

Motorization allows you to open and close your blinds from up to 150 feet away with the push of a button on a remote control. Please be sure to add one remote control per order, and select “No remote” when ordering up to an additional 5 motorized blinds for the same room (since one remote control will work on up to 6 blinds).

Description 

The Super Value Vinyl Blackout Roller Shades offers you the simplicity of the original roll up window shade. This updated quality roller shade has fashionable fabrics, streamlined roller mechanisms and custom accents. Made with vinyl fiberglass laminated with pure vinyl, these shades have a contemporary look. The side of the shade that the street sees is laminated with a white vinyl back (except for Cream, which is the same colour on both sides).

Note: Inside mounted blackout shades will have light gaps coming into the room from the edges of the shade. Please order outside mounted blackout shades if you prefer a higher level of blackout.

Recommendations and Limitations

  • Products come with 12" of extra fabric to conceal the roller.
  • Cordless lift system can only be top or back mounted. Cordless lift system in a reverse roll can only be top mounted.
  • Shades ordered as outside mount with exposed roll cannot be side mounted, and the metal brackets will be exposed once installed.
  • Factory deductions: Outside mount: No deductions on headrail. Inside mount: Cordless: 1/8" headrail deduction with 3/4" light gap per side. Cassette option: 1/4” headrail deduction with light gap of 11/16" per side. (Do not account for factory deductions when measuring for your shades.)
  • Scalloped, wave and rounded hems come with decorative fringe and white or black stitching.
  • Shades will be manufactured with upgraded 1 3/8" metal roller for all orders over 72".
  • Shades over 73" wide and over 60" in height will have a horizontal seam. Seam is placed as high as possible on shade so, in most cases, it remains hidden.
