Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

Chain Guard
Chain Guard is a transparent shroud that covers the Continuous Cord Loop in compliance with the new Canadian regulations for improved child safety. When in the neutral position at the bottom of the chain, the Chain Guard leaves <22 cms of exposed chain at the top of the shade. To raise or lower the shade, simply raise the Chain Guard shroud and operate the exposed chain at the bottom as you would with a regular Continuous Cord Loop.

The 5% SheerWeave Value Outdoor Solar Roller Shades are custom made out of sun control fabric that shields you from 95% of all harmful UV rays. These shades are designed to diffuse light, reduce glare and to help control solar heat gain; making your room more comfortable while providing a view to the outside. All components are made out of rust proof materials, and are great for patios.

  • Comes with velcro hold downs to stop it from flapping in the wind.
  • Shades come standard with sewn in fabric wrapped hem bar.

  • Available with standard or reverse roll options.

Recommendations and Limitations

  • Polyester / PVC combination.
  • Sun control product. Not a privacy shade.
  • Products come with 6 to 10 inches of extra fabric to conceal the roller.
  • Fabric deduction on inside/outside mount and cordless lift: 5/8 inch on each side.
  • Factory deductions: Outside mount will have no deductions on the headrail but fabric will be 1 1/8 inch narrower than ordered. Inside Mount will have 1/4 inch deduction off the headrail and the fabric will be 1 1/8 inch narrower.
  • Cassette options: Min 15 1/2", Max 115" wide. Min 24", Max 96" height.
  • Shades will be manufactured with upgraded 1 3/8 inch metal roller for all orders over 72 inches.
  • Cassette cannot be side mounted.
  • Shades over 96" wide will have a maximum height of 84".

I would have given a five since I’ve had good customer experiences on multiple purchases. In this last purchase the blind used a ball chain for raising and lowering. In my case the coupling for the chain would not fit into the chain guide. I didn’t call customer service. I just made my own coupling that works great. So now the blind is good
