Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

Install your window shades in minutes – no tools, no holes! All you have to do is place the no-drill headrail at the top of your window, push on the tension bar to lock it into place, and attach your shade.
IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If the no-drill installation headrail is chosen, measure the exact width of the top of your window frame and use those measurements as your width. Do NOT take the smallest of the three measurements, which may cause your headrail to not fit properly.

And the energy-efficient honeycomb single cell construction provides great insulation all year round, saving you on energy costs.
   
The built-in cordless lift system is easy to use and is the safest choice for homes with kids and pets, as there are no dangling cords. These shades are made from 100% polyester material and are available in a wide selection of contemporary neutral colours which are colour coordinated with the metal headrail and bottom rail. Recommendations and Limitations

  • Inside mount: 1/4" total deduction taken at factory for headrail and fabric. No deductions to headrail or fabric on outside mount.
  • Not a 100% light-blocking product. Note there will be slight gaps on sides due to fabric deductions when inside mount selected. For more light blockage, consider ordering as outside mount. 
  • Spacer blocks, extension brackets, hold down brackets, and side mount brackets are not available.
  • No-drill Headrail is only available in the colour white.
  • No-drill headrail option is only available for inside mount.
  • No-drill headrail max width: 84”. Max height: 84”. 2 1/8" of depth to install required.  
  • The locking mechanism on the no-drill installation headrail will be located on the right side.

Happy with the blinds

Love the cordless honeycomb blinds, the width & length were perfect! However, one of the blinds won’t stay lowered. We pull the blind down & it goes up about 12”, the others stay at the bottom at the windowsill. Love the blinds but, the whole point to get blackout blinds was so there the light was very low!

Up Down Blinds Issue

We’ve ordered a few blackout blinds and have been happy with them. The up down blinds have a very thick bottom rail, so thick that it can not fit under the crank for our window to pull the blind all the way down to make the room as dark as possible. Our other blinds from this company fit under just fine. We have 2x4 walls so the jamb distance isn’t very big and there isn’t extra depth for the rail to be pulled down all the way. And with the hardware, the clear plastic pieces that hold the bottom rail down will only work if the bottom rail can be fully pulled down and flush to the bottom. I could install the plastic hold down pin things horizontal and above the handle, but tons of light comes through and the pins aren’t deep enough to sit horizontal. A little disappointed that there isn’t more info on the lower rail being so much thicker. If we had known we would have chose a different model or company.
