The Premier 2” Blackout Cellular Shades will immediately add a noticeable visual impact to any room in your home. These shades are the perfect fit for any room that receives too much sun such as bedrooms or media rooms. Smaller pleats can make your windows seem crowded but with the creases being further apart, large windows will seem less busy as there are less horizontal lines breaking up the view. The 2” Premium Blackout Cellular Shades have an added benefit of helping insulate your home. The rails are colour coordinated to your chosen fabric and colour creating an elegant, finished look. Lastly, these shades are easy to install! In no time you’ll have that great designer look you always wanted. Note: Inside mounted blackout shades might have a small light gap on the edges of the shade. If you would prefer no light gaps, please consider ordering outside mounted blackout shades.

Measure the exact width (left to right) of the wooden or metal window frame or how wide you would like the blind or shade to be.
Make sure to measure wide enough as to cover the entire window and provide maximum light gap coverage. Example: If the window opening is 72", it might be helpful to order 76". This will provide 2" coverage on each side of the window.
There is no rule on the width of blinds other than to make sure that it is wide enough to cover the opening.
Fabric will be made at ordered width and headrail will be ordered width plus ¼”
Write down that size making sure that it is the first number of the measurement.
Measure the height you would like the blind to be by measuring top to bottom.
We recommend adding about 3 or 4 inches to this number to insure maximum light gap coverage and to cover the window completely.
Please be sure to know that the height measurement will always include the headrail. Example: if the height ordered is 50” this will be the height including the headrail (from the very top of the headrail to the bottom rail).
You will want to mount the headrail above the window frame. Please make a note that some windows have trim that might interfere with mounting so it's important to measure above the trim if this is the case.
