Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

Made from top-quality natural woven woods, we customize the shade to your exact measurements for a perfect fit each and every time. Upgrade your shade with a valance option which covers the headrail and adds depth and dimension to the look. Choose from 25 designer colours & textures. Cordless option comes standard so you can have a sleek style and peace of mind knowing your children and pets are safe.

Recommendations and Limitations

  • Inside mount deductions: 1/3" on fabric and headrail.
  • Standard valances are 6" in height.
  • Liners are physically attached to the back of the woven wood shade and operate in unison with them.
  • Liners are the same colour on both sides (streetside and inside of shade).
  • No-drill headrail is only available in the colour white and will be visible after installation, with or without valance.
  • No-drill headrail is only available for inside mount.
  • The locking mechanism on the no-drill installation headrail will be located on the right side.
  • IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If the no-drill installation headrail is chosen, measure the exact width of the top of your window frame and use those measurements as your width. Do NOT take the smallest of the three measurements, which may cause your headrail to not fit properly.

I really like quality of the blinds but the brackets that hold the blind on the top to the window does not allow it to sit totally flush against the top of the window leaving a little gap on the top side. It does not look like the picture on your website, otherwise the blinds look really nice.

Received my blinds as expected. They were well packaged and not damaged. Had a contractor friend install them for me. Look beautiful. I ordered the ones that go inside the window frame. The only thing that will bug me is that there is about 1 to 1.5inches of space and therefore I can see the outside. I wish it would fit snug but I suppose that's what you get when you use inside measurements. I had no space to do the outside one. Overall good product.

This is my third purchase with Select Blinds Canada, and again it has not disappointed. My bamboo blinds are great quality and very aesthetically pleasing! I was on the fence about getting the liner for extra privacy but I am glad that I did ( I went with the white). I feel like it gave the blinds more structure and looks nice from the outside of the house. Delivery was also much quicker than I anticipated! I can not comment on customer service because I have yet to contact them ( which is obviously speaks to their product ).
