Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

The cordless option does not have any cords and is raised and lowered by pulling on the shade itself.

Continuous Cord Loop is raised and lowered by use of a cord mounted to the Left or Right side of the shade.

Motorization allows you to open and close your blinds with the push of a button on a remote control.

Chain Guard
Chain Guard is a transparent shroud that covers the Continuous Cord Loop in compliance with the new Canadian regulations for improved child safety. When in the neutral position at the bottom of the chain, the Chain Guard leaves <22 cms of exposed chain at the top of the shade. To raise or lower the shade, simply raise the Chain Guard shroud and operate the exposed chain at the bottom as you would with a regular Continuous Cord Loop.

Motorization
Motorization allows you to open and close your blinds from up to 150 feet away with the push of a button on a remote control. Control your blinds with your smartphone or voice-controlled Amazon or Google device by connecting them to the Neo Connect Smart WiFi Controller. To use the Smart Blinds Hub, you must order this product with Motorization lift option. Controller range is approximately 150 feet. One (1) controller is recommended per every 2000 square feet. A remote control is required to program your blinds. Please be sure to add 1 remote per order.

These shades are modern, stylish and energy efficient, making the inside temperature more comfortable and saving you on energy costs. The 5% openness is designed to diffuse light, reduce glare and help control solar heat gain, while still providing a view to the outside. Choose from 6 designer colours and for added safety, you can add the cordless lift option.

  • Crease & fade-resistant polyester fabric
  • These shades have built-in Microban® antimicrobial protection which is effective against bacteria by up to 99.99%. The fabrics are protected against stain and odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew. This will help ensure your blinds stay clean and fresh for longer!
  • STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified. Every thread and hardware of these blinds have been tested for harmful substances, assuring they are safe for your family and home.
  • This product is GREENGUARD certified. These blinds have been tested and verified to meet standards for chemical emissions and pollutants, making them a safe choice for indoor use.

Recommendations and Limitations

  • Sun control product. Not a privacy shade.
  • Polyester / PVC combination.
  • Shades over 96" wide will have a maximum height of 84".
  • Products come with 6 to 10 inches of extra fabric to conceal the roller.
  • Factory deductions: Outside mount will have no deductions on headrail. Fabric will be 1-1/4" narrower than ordered. Inside mount will have 1/4" deduction off headrail. Fabric for Cordless lift system will be 1-1/4" narrower. Fabric for Chain Guard will be 1" narrower. Deductions may vary +/- 1/8".
  • Cassette min. flush mount depth: 3-1/4".
  • Aluminum roller come standard.
  • Shades will be manufactured with upgraded 1 3/8 inch metal roller for all orders over 72 inches.

This is my second time ordering ftom Select. Both times, service had been great. Excellent email and phone customer service. Samples arrived quickly. Order arrived much sooner than I expected. I messed up when ordering one blind (input wrong dimension). They were perfectly happy to remake it for me at no cost, with only proof that I had donated the incorrect one. (In the meantime, I had decided I wanted a different stule of blind for that window. They were unable to replacecthe product with a different product, which I didn’t really expect them to. I opted to just go ahead and order the replacement at my own cost. It arrived very fast, and No additional ahipping cost, even on a little order under $100. I totally recommend this company.

The sizes of all the 4 blinds I ordered were perfect in color, sizes, style. Great quality. The website to order is thorough and simple to understand. Any questions are handled promptly and efficiently by the Customer Service. PERFECT. I installed my 4 blinds in no time at all. The only issue was with the transportation where my boxes arrived soaked wet and obviously ripped, BUT THE BLINDS WERE SO WELL PACKED IN SEALED BAGS that they were not affected by the transportation. I must admit that the boxes were 7 feet long each. hard to put these on a shelf in a truck.
