Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

Reverse RollpositionReverse - Roller is hidden behind the shade. Shade comes down in front of the roller. Recommended for inside mount so the shades are flush with the outside of the window sill.

NOTE: Reverse Roll is not available if Cassette Valance is chosen.

The 3” Square Aluminum Fascia Valance is an “L” shaped aluminum extrusion that covers the front and bottom of the roller. This valance accessory locks to its brackets by means of snap-in fittings. The roller is concealed behind this valance and the bottom of the shade drops from the back of the valance when lowered.

Spring loaded roller shade by
Was hesitant to purchase the spring loaded blind. Since we could not get corded blinds and the options are limited we went with spring loaded. We have just installed and they are as we remember them, cheap. The blinds look great but I do not think the spring is going to last. My kids will not be allowed to use as the blind retracts to fast, nothing like the demo videos. Installed the blinds and pulled the cord and small balls keep falling out.

Ok but wouldn’t buy again by
I bought solar shades for my office. I’d watched the installation video a dozen times to make sure I could install them, but the installation was totally different when the blinds actually arrived. And not a one person job. The pull cord on one of the blinds fell off the first time I used it. The blinds do not raise very easily, it takes 6-8 tries to get them back up. I ordered two identical blinds for French doors and they are different thicknesses when rolled up, I have no idea why but I don’t like that they don’t look even.

3% weave solar roller blind by
I'm very satisfied with my blind. Blocks out the early morning sun but let's enough light in. I put them on my patio doors and when they are up they are not noticeable at all. Just what I wanted.

Decent product, but quality and warranty issues by
I’ve used this shade a few times on some recent custom builds. My initial experience with the online service and quality seemed okay. Do note: Online colours and textures are no where close to the actual product. I highly recommend ordering samples. As for quality, most are still working but I’ve had numerous mechanisms fail with long span blinds.
