Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

The cordless option does not have any cords and is raised and lowered by pulling on the shade itself.

Continuous Cord Loop is raised and lowered by use of a cord mounted to the Left or Right side of the shade.

Motorization allows you to open and close your blinds with the push of a button on a remote control.

Chain Guard
Chain Guard is a transparent shroud that covers the Continuous Cord Loop in compliance with the new Canadian regulations for improved child safety. When in the neutral position at the bottom of the chain, the Chain Guard leaves <22 cms of exposed chain at the top of the shade. To raise or lower the shade, simply raise the Chain Guard shroud and operate the exposed chain at the bottom as you would with a regular Continuous Cord Loop.

To use the Smart Blinds Hub, you must order this product with Motorization lift option. Controller range is approximately 150 feet. One (1) controller is recommended per every 2000 square feet. The 14% SheerWeave Super Value Solar Roller blocks 86% of harmful UV rays. These "sun control" solar roller shades allow you to see the outside while protecting you from the suns rays. To conceal the roller for a finished look, cassettes are available as an option. For added safety, these solar rollers can be ordered as a cordless blind.

  • STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified. Every thread and hardware of these blinds have been tested for harmful substances, assuring they are safe for your family and home.
  • This product is GREENGUARD certified. These blinds have been tested and verified to meet standards for chemical emissions and pollutants, making them a safe choice for indoor use.

Recommendations and Limitations

  • Sun control product. Not a privacy shade.
  • Polyester / PVC combination.
  • Shades over 96" wide will have a maximum height of 84".
  • Products come with 6 to 10 inches of extra fabric to conceal the roller.
  • Factory deductions: Outside mount will have no deductions on headrail. Fabric will be 1-1/4" narrower than ordered. Inside mount will have 1/4" deduction off headrail. Fabric for Cordless or Motorized lift system will be 1-1/4" narrower. Fabric for Chain Guard will be 1" narrower.
  • Cassette min. flush mount depth: 3-1/4".
  • Aluminum roller come standard.
  • Shades will be manufactured with upgraded 1 3/8 inch metal roller for all orders over 72 inches.
  • Chain guard shroud is transparent

The sizes of all the 4 blinds I ordered were perfect in color, sizes, style. Great quality. The website to order is thorough and simple to understand. Any questions are handled promptly and efficiently by the Customer Service. PERFECT. I installed my 4 blinds in no time at all. The only issue was with the transportation where my boxes arrived soaked wet and obviously ripped, BUT THE BLINDS WERE SO WELL PACKED IN SEALED BAGS that they were not affected by the transportation. I must admit that the boxes were 7 feet long each. hard to put these on a shelf in a truck.

Bought this blind for the office. Thought this blind would provide more shade to prevent glare on the computer screen. It unfortunately does not do what we needed it to do.

Lets too much light through - wish it was darker

Great blinds and good quality. Install was easy and they look nice however we got these for our office and the sun still causes a glare as the little holes let too much light through still. I wish it was a tad darker. You can see in and out of these so not necessarily for privacy if that's what you're looking for (we knew this and we weren't looking for privacy - just to block the sun in our office mostly)
