Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

Control your blinds with your smartphone or voice-controlled Amazon or Google device by connecting them to the Neo Connect Smart WiFi Controller. To use the Smart Blinds Hub, you must order this product with Motorization lift option. Controller range is approximately 150 feet. One (1) controller is recommended per every 2000 square feet. A remote control is required to program your blinds. Please be sure to add 1 remote per order.

No-Drill Installation Headrail
Install your window shades in minutes – no tools, no holes! All you have to do is place the no-drill headrail at the top of your window, push on the tension bar to lock it into place, and attach your shade.
IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If the no-drill installation headrail is chosen, measure the exact width of the top of your window frame and use those measurements as your width. Do NOT take the smallest of the three measurements, which may cause your headrail to not fit properly.

These blackout shades are ideal for bedrooms, media room and nurseries, as the soft, durable fabric blocks out incoming light.

These budget-friendly cellular shades come standard with a cordless lift system, making them the perfect choice for families with kids or pets, as there are no dangling cords.

Note: Inside mounted blackout shades might have a small light gap on the edges of the shade. If you would prefer no light gaps, please consider ordering outside mounted blackout shades.

Recommendations and Limitations

  • Inside mount: 3/8" headrail deduction and 1/8" fabric deduction taken at the factory.  No deductions to headrail or fabric on outside mount.
  • Not a 100% light-blocking product. Note there will be slight gaps on sides due to fabric deductions when inside mount selected. For more light blockage, consider ordering as outside mount.
  • Hold down brackets and extension brackets are not available for this product. 
  • Clear plastic handles are included
  • The no-drill installation headrail comes with a matching fabric-insert and is only available for inside mount.
  • No-drill installation headrail max width: 78”. Max height: 78”. Requires 2" of depth to install.
  • The locking mechanism on the no-drill installation headrail will be located on the right side.

The cordless honeycomb blackout blinds are perfect for the three bedrooms in our rental property. Easy to install and all three of the blinds operate smoothly. Colour is winter white. The other three light filtering blinds are beautiful. The cordless blind for the main bathroom is perfect. The two motor operated wand controlled blinds for the kitchen window and living room window are a great upgrade to the rental property. Operated with ease and so quiet when in operation. Colour is white. Overall, we are very happy with the blinds and yes, we do highly recommend ordering from this company. Excellent value for the cost.
