Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

Our made to measure, 3 1/2" Premium Smooth Vertical Blinds offer you the greatest versatility of all window treatments. Practical and fashionable, these vertical blinds are ideal for sliding glass doors and large windows. These blinds offer a stimulating combination of beauty, low maintenance, durability, light control and privacy, with a rich variety of  textures, patterns and colours. The custom headrail system, complete with self-lubricating wheeled carriers, assure you of many years of smooth operation.

  • Upgraded aluminum headrail standard

  • Carriers are self alligning and self lubricating

Recommendations and Limitations

  • Made from 100% PVC, a durable, low maintenance material
  • Outside Mount valance is 2" wider than ordered width.
  • Wand tilt colour is standard White.
  • Total Height - Includes vanes + headrail.
  • Vane Lengths - Inside Mount: Approx. 2" less than ordered height. Outside Mount: Approx. 1 1/2" less than ordered height.
  • Deductions - Inside Mount: 3/8" off ordered width, 1/2" off ordered height. Outside Mount: No deductions. Deductions may vary +/- 1/8".
  • Standard wand length is 36” for all heights. 48” or 60” wands are available upon request at no additional charge. Please specify in the notes section of the shopping cart at time of order.

Blinds were great, fitted perfectly. Only thing I had an issue with it says Select Blinds Canada, but the shipping came from the states. I am pro buy Canadian so this was disappointing.

Problem with measurments solved by guarantee (y)

All good in the end. Initially had a problem as the slats were slightly too long and touching the floor. Not sure who's fault that is. Probably mine, or maybe the instructions were too difficult and I got the measurements slightly wrong during the initial request. However, this was no problem. I mentioned this in an email, asking if there's a way I could cut them slightly or looking for other options. Select Blinds made it way easier and offered to send me new ones that are the right size. Just received and installed them, and all is perfect now. Thanks!

Expensive for a cheap product

I purchased premium blinds yet they don't Blick out the sun. My hunter douglas ones make the room dark, these are so thin that the sun makes them turn red and still lights up the room. The instructions they sent for installation had multiple different blinds on them and it was very hard to follow which part I was supposed to be on and what exactly I needed. It appears I was sent extra screws and I'm not sure why. They arrived covered in particulate matter and I ended up with a metal sliver when trying to pull the blinds out of their plastic. For the price I paid, the blinds should be thick enough to block out the sun completely. I also had to remove the side piece as it wouldn't let the blinds close properly.
