Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

Chain Guard
Chain Guard is a transparent shroud that covers the Continuous Cord Loop in compliance with the new Canadian regulations for improved child safety. When in the neutral position at the bottom of the chain, the Chain Guard leaves <22 cms of exposed chain at the top of the shade. To raise or lower the shade, simply raise the Chain Guard shroud and operate the exposed chain at the bottom as you would with a regular Continuous Cord Loop.

The 14% SheerWeave Value Outdoor Solar Roller blocks 86% of harmful UV rays. These "sun control" solar roller shades allow you to see the outside while protecting you from the suns rays. To conceal the roller for a finished look, cassettes are available as an option. All components are made out of rust proof materials, and are great for patios.

Recommendations and Limitations

  • Polyester / PVC combination.
  • Sun control product. Not a privacy shade.
  • Fabric deduction on inside/outside mount and cordless lift: 5/8 inch on each side.
  • Products come with 6 to 10 inches of extra fabric to conceal the roller.
  • Factory deductions: Outside mount will have no deductions on the headrail but fabric will be 1 1/8 inch narrower than ordered. Inside Mount will have 1/4 inch deduction off the headrail and the fabric will be 1 1/8 inch narrower.
  • Cassette options: Min 15 1/2", Max 115" wide. Min 24", Max 96" height.
  • Shades will be manufactured with upgraded 1 3/8 inch metal roller for all orders over 72 inches.
  • Cassette cannot be side mounted.
  • Shades over 96" wide will have a maximum height of 84".
  • Chain guard shroud is transparent

Since blinds are mostly shipped out for long distances items such as the end plates that hold the roller in place need additional fasteners Lucky for us the spring was still in the box as well as the small plastic pin install instruction can be confusing but okay. Overall seems to be decent quality
