Note: Inside mounted blackout shades might have a small light gap on the edges of the shade. If you would prefer no light gaps, please consider ordering outside mounted blackout shades.

Recommendations and Limitations

• Note: When installed as an inside mount, your covering will not block 100% of the light. There will be a small light gap, like a halo effect, around the sides and on the top and bottom of the shade. This is due to how the shade fits inside the window.
• When ordering as outside mount, if space permits, we recommend adding 3”-4” to ordered width for additional light coverage.
• Inside Mount deduction (taken at factory): 3/8” off fabric and 3/16” off headrail (+/- 1/8”).
• Outside Mount: Fabric width as ordered. ¼” added to headrail at factory (+/- 1/8”).
• Cordless handles are clear.
• Headrail will come fabric wrapped in the same material as the shade fabric selected.
• Back of the shade is white.
• End caps on bottom rail and headrails will be white on all lift systems except motorized lifts. Motorization will come with clear bottom rail and headrail end caps.
