Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

Chain Guard
Chain Guard is a transparent shroud that covers the Continuous Cord Loop in compliance with the new Canadian regulations for improved child safety. When in the neutral position at the bottom of the chain, the Chain Guard leaves <22 cms of exposed chain at the top of the shade. To raise or lower the shade, simply raise the Chain Guard shroud and operate the exposed chain at the bottom as you would with a regular Continuous Cord Loop.

All components are made out of rust proof materials, and are great for patios. This blind is available in 6 popular colours and with a Cassette option.

Recommendations and Limitations

  • Sun control product. Not a privacy shade.
  • Fabric deduction on inside/outside mount and cordless spring lift: 5/8 inch on each side.
  • Factory deductions: Outside mount will have no deductions on the headrail but Fabric will be 1 1/8 inch narrower than ordered. Inside Mount will have 1/4 inch deduction off the headrail and the fabric will be 1 1/8 inch narrower.
  • Products come with 6 to 10 inches of extra fabric to conceal the roller.
  • Shades will be manufactured with upgraded 1 3/8 inches metal roller for all orders over 72 inches.
  • Cassette options: Min 15 1/2", Max 115" wide. Min 24", Max 96" height.
  • Cassette cannot be side mounted.
  • Shades over 96" wide will have a maximum height of 84".
  • Chain guard shroud is transparent

The tensioner is garbage. It's definitely going to fail. The instructions are horrible. The blinds are quite nice though. Tried leaving a review on the website, twice, and neither was posted.

The product is great. We just got our blinds (there was a delay in delivery) and put them up, in time to take them down for the winter. They look great! I hope we can enjoy them next summer. We haven’t had them long enough to really give a proper rating. Maybe next summer it might be more accurate.

I ordered these late in the year, so we haven't had a chance to enjoy them much yet. Overall everything went well though - installation was straightforward, and the blinds work great. We have them on a screened-in patio, just to cut down on the morning/noon sun while we're eating outdoors.
