| I decided to go with the Designer Series 2 1/2" Stained Wood Blinds in the living area and the 2" Painted Faux Wood Blinds in the bedrooms, all with the routeless no-holes option. Every aspect of this experience, from the ordering process, the free delivery, the packaging and the customer service, right down to the quality and construction of the product, was A+. Having destroyed a small part while installing my blinds, I called Select to purchase a replacement. The telephone rep was very pleasant, and she arranged to ship out the item, no charge. This is a followup to my original post...
The original order was shipped and because of a miscommunication regarding a dye-lot change by the manufacturer, I ended up with the wrong colour for my entire order (16 blinds). I contacted Select Blinds Canada, and after some investigation, they agreed to redo the entire order and upgrade my order as compensation for the mix-up. Both the customer service rep, and the customer service manager contacted me personally to sort out the matter, and they were very thorough and professional about the entire ordeal. I understand that mistakes happen, but it's how you deal with the mistakes that matters, and after seeing how they handled everything, I have and will continue to recommend this company to anyone. |

| Faux wood looks as good as the real ones
The customer service was really great, I had put a note on my order asking if I could get one of the sets of blinds with rods and removable slats (even though there was no option for these on this particular blind) and I got a phone call to clarify my note. I then explained that if I could get these blinds in the faux model with these options, I would have, but the colours in the higher end model were not the same -and none looked like a match for my wood. She then told me she was going to get a sample of the woods and see in person if any were a good match with what I had chosen and call me back. ( I had ordered over a dozen samples to choose from!) When she called me back she confirmed that the wood colour I was needing was not close on the model with these particular options, but I was very impressed and thankful that she would check on this in person! This didn't feel like on-line ordering!
In the end my blinds all came quicker than expected, and the faux wood ones look and feel just as beautiful as the real wood ones I ordered for my dining room. |

I researched a variety of window coverings, and the top-down insulating honeycomb blinds were the only kind that would satisfy me. I shopped around, and Select Blinds had the best price, shipping from within Canada and the free samples to help me see the exact coulour. They were delivered very quickly, and really make a difference in the cold and sound that were coming through our thin windows. Installation was complicated, and the brackets were not as strong as we expected, but overall, once they got installed, they are great. |

To whom it may concern,
We dealt with Ann at select blinds last year for our basement windows. Ann
helped us really well and everything came on time and they were easy to
install.
A couple of months ago we noticed that one blind is teared on the bottom. I have no clue how this happened but I was wandering what we can do about it
as the blinds are not even one year old.
Please inform us what we can do about this.

After getting an initial quote for blinds in our new home, we started looking around and found this website. I was very nervous of purchasing over the inter net, but was very releaved when the blinds arrived. the only thing I would change is the bracket for the type of blinds I had ordered. Iwould reconmend using a heavier(stronger) bracket. |

| I happened upon the website by accident and ended up getting amazing blinds for more than half off the price of locally purchased blinds. The tutorials on the site were very easy to follow and doing business with this company was a pleasure. I am probably one of the few that experienced a problem with shipping (the shipper ended up bending the package in half). I called the 1-888 number, spoke with a very friendly representative and was told the replacement blinds would be remade immediately and shipped ASAP. I emailed pictures of the damage to the company and was pleasantly surprised to see the replacement blinds in less than two weeks. I purchased the honeycomb shades and the sheerweave solar shades -- I highly recommend this company not only for their unbelievable products but for their excellent customer service as well.
