How to Submit a Claim:
In order to submit your claim, simply contact our Customer Service team at (888) 685-1735 within 30 days of receiving your blinds. If replacement blinds are necessary, the same product in the same colour will be remade. In the unlikely event that there is a price difference between the old and new blinds due to the size change, we will only charge you the difference. As all blinds are custom made, this guarantee does not allow for cash refunds. This guarantee covers up to 6 blinds/shades per household**.

Shipping:
The original blinds must be returned to SelectBlinds before the new ones are shipped to the customer. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

Colour Match Guarantee:
Choosing the right colour is key to ensure your window blinds perfectly complement your room décor. That is why we always recommend ordering samples so that you can see the actual colour – samples are free and the best way to find the perfect colour and texture match.

If you are not happy with the colour of your blinds for whatever reason (provided that you had received samples of that colour), we will remake your blinds with your new colour selection for free. Note that some colours change the product’s price, so if your new colour selection increases the price, we will only charge you for the price difference.

I received my order today, and 16 of the 17 blinds are the wrong colour! I ordered "Mahogany Stained" which is a shade of brown that matches nearly all of the wood tones in my new house, and the entire order was filled as "Mahogany" which is a deep reddish/purple shade, and a completely different colour. I have filled out the online comment form and am awaiting a return call to see what type of resolution this company will offer. I will return soon with the followup comments of how they handle the resolution.

I happened upon the website by accident and ended up getting amazing blinds for more than half off the price of locally purchased blinds. The tutorials on the site were very easy to follow and doing business with this company was a pleasure. I am probably one of the few that experienced a problem with shipping (the shipper ended up bending the package in half). We dealt with Ann at select blinds last year for our basement windows. Ann
helped us really well and everything came on time and they were easy to
install.

A couple of months ago we noticed that one blind is teared on the bottom. I have no clue how this happened but I was wandering what we can do about it
as the blinds are not even one year old.

I contacted Select Blinds Canada, and after some investigation, they agreed to redo the entire order and upgrade my order as compensation for the mix-up. Both the customer service rep, and the customer service manager contacted me personally to sort out the matter, and they were very thorough and professional about the entire ordeal. I understand that mistakes happen, but it's how you deal with the mistakes that matters, and after seeing how they handled everything, I have and will continue to recommend this company to anyone.

I decided to go with the Designer Series 2 1/2" Stained Wood Blinds in the living area and the 2" Painted Faux Wood Blinds in the bedrooms, all with the routeless no-holes option. We bought a set of blinds, 7, in different sizes 3 years ago. We put them up, and , well they were blinds. Two looked very nice, and worked well, and still do. The others were heavy, with the large one very hard to lift. Over the years, we left it down, just opening and closing the slats. Recently, to clean the windows, up comes the blind, and something breaks, sending it crashing down. Tied it together in the up position, and left it.

About a week later I called select, and talked to Grace about this. Back and forth a few times, some pictures, and lo and behold the builder of these blinds had gone out of business.

Select Blinds Canada, and Grace put together a package of better blinds, and replaced 4 of the blinds that were of the same kind. We did a color change, and upgraded one step, to the tune of 30 some odd dollars.

I just received the blinds and installed them. The difference in the blinds is amazing. These fit perfectly, work like they should, are not heavy at all, and matched to a T.
